New Target!

I am still dieting..

Three easy steps:
1. Drink water (about 8 cups per day)

2. Eat a low carb, low sodium, low sugar diet.

3. Exercise or play a sport up to, but not limited to, 4 times per week.

And for me, it’s about cutting back how much I have of one thing.
If I have two pieces of bread that day, I won’t eat rice for dinner. If I have 2 cups of milky drink a day, I won’t eat a lot of snack. If I have a chicken meal for lunch, I will eat a smaller dinner, with more veg, than meat - or I'll skip dinner. I'm thinking of not eating red meat,beef, pork, or other meat products. I try to ONLY eat chicken, and fish. I seldom eat fast food, but when I do, I can't stop, so won't be eating that too (i ate pizza 5 times this week, bad habit).

 It’s not about depriving yourself of your favourite foods, it’s all about portion control! Watch the calories, the sodium, and the sugar intake per day, and you should be set for life Darl!

A Real Father

It’s not so common anymore
to have a dad who’s really there,
who is the provider for his family,
who comes home every night,
whose predictability
creates a sense of stability and security
in his household.
Your routine may not seem valuable to you,
but it’s worth a lot to me.
I’m thankful that I can depend on you
to always be you--
a real father,
responsible, trustworthy,
and a great role model.
I’ve learned a lot of good things
from watching you.
Thanks, Dad

My sister, my bro, and me. And that's my Dad!

Love you both!!

be HAPPY! :) :)

Hey all,

How's your weekend going? I'm so blessed till these date.
Went to church this morning, had fun together with friends and some crazy stuff.
So what i'm gonna be telling this week is about being content, happy and proud of who you are right now. Because you are who you are, you're unique in your way, and i remember my friend (Lydia-credits to you :>) always said this loud, dare to be different! Love yourself, so that you can love others.

I always over heard people or even my friends complained about their life, their family, health, studies and stuff, and of course i'm speaking about myself too. I admit that, i get frustrated with myself sometimes too. Nobody is perfect, ok? We do have our ups and downs. Sometimes, i get obsess with things that i know it doesn't really matters, that in the end it will end up no good to me. But yeah i manage to get back on tract, i learned and get over it. Yes, of course  please be realistic, nobody is happy all the time, but i'm here to tell you that you are not the only one, and you're worth to be happy. Never let your emotions take control of your self. Anyway, what are life without risks right?

Learn to be happy with yourself. Don't obsess over things. What i mean is, example, it's just like money, if you keep focusing to all the things you don't have. you'll never be happy, no matter how much you have already. Because every seconds someone's always gonna be richer, someone's always gonna be prettier or skinnier.....If you believe that you look good, people will believe it too, vice versa. =) So be content, and happy! Smile from me to you. =)

When you're happy, people will be happy too. You'll have so much happier life, great life, friends and you'll create a happy atmosphere. It will brings you so much luck. Trust me!

Okay so, that's pretty much what my advice for you today. Hope this will help. Love ya! TTYL!

"Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.
It means you have decided to look beyond the imperfections."

Homemade facial mask.

Hey DOLLS! I miss all of you very much!

It's time for me to do some writing again, don't you think? (haha, you misses me more, i know haha)...

~~~~Okay, first of all, i'm really hoping that all of you guys and girls are in a good hands for this past 2-3 weeks. Yeah, I've been busy with exams, works and a little bit of this and that, also moved to a new place too! But anyway my dearies, I've been thinking a lot of what should i be writing today. Make up? hmmm....i need to do more research on that topic. Fashion trick? i'll do some, but i won't be doing it today, soon i promise.
How about getting a healthy skin without spending any penny? I got a few remedies on tips to make a healthy homemade mask. Let's do it!
In the following homemade facial masks are for different type of skins - oily skin, dry skin, combination skin, ageing skin, etc are given.
Cucumber Face Mask
Make a paste by mixing one small cucumber and one cup of oatmeal. Mix one tea spoon of this paste with one tsp of yogurt (for oily skin) or milk malai (for dry skin) and leave for 30 minutes and then rinse.
Honey Facial Mask
Rinse your face with warm water to open up the pores. Apply honey and leave for half an hour. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores.
Oily Skin Mask
Mix 1 tsp brewer's yeast with plain yogurt to make a thin mixture. Apply it thoroughly into all the oily areas and leave for 15 - 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, and then use cold water
Dry skin Mask
Mix 1 tsp of butter in 1 tsp of water. Apply it thoroughly into all the dry areas and leave for 15 - 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
Banana Mask for wrinkles
Mash 1/4 banana until very creamy and apply on face and leave for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, and then use cold water.
Avocado Facial Mask
Mash the meat of the avocado into a creamy texture. Apply it thoroughly on face and leave for 15 - 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water.
Oatmeal Facial Mask
Take 2 tsp oatmeal and 1 tsp baking soda and add water to make paste. Apply to face and all over the skin and rub gently.
Lemon Facial Mask Squeeze half a lemon and mix the juice with one beaten egg white. Apply on your face and leave for overnight. Wash your face with warm water.
Grape Cleanser
Split 2-3 grapes and  rub the flesh over face and neck. Rinse with cool water.
Banana Face Pack for Dry Skin
Mash half cup of natural yogurt, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1/4 ripe banana. Apply this pack on face and neck and leave for 10 minutes and then rinse off.
Cucumber Face Pack to get Smooth Skin
Mash 1 whole cucumber, strain water, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and mix well. Put in a container, keep refrigerated and take out whenever you want to use it. Apply on your face and leave for 10 minutes, then wash with cold water and enjoy the smoothness of your skin.
MORE?? :)
Here are my own best usual homemade facial mask that i made myself every once or twice a week, it keeps my face smooth, fresh, radiant and tightens (like a baby skin)! Remember, it's fast, simple and easy to make!
Green tea and sugar mask!
extra infos: green tea are best for normal to sensitive oily skin great to moisture, sugar are great for ex-foliating dead skin and soothing, in addition it keeps your skin feel smooth, radiant, refreshed, glowing and tightens bouncy feeling all day long!
step 1: pop your green tea bag into a cup, and pour some 1/3 of boiled water. Let it cool down for about 2-5mins.
step2: take a bowl, add 2 or 3 tbs of sugar. Take the previous cup with the warm green tea, about 1 tbs and poured it into the sugar. Let it absorb, Mix it slightly.
step 3: add your own favorite ingredients. Example: Honey to moisturize, Lemon to cleanse, yogurt to soothe. Or you can simply add Baby oil inside. Stir evenly.
step 4: take cotton pad, swab it and apply it thoroughly onto your face. Gently massage and scrub your face. Leave it for 5 to 10 mins.
step 5: wash it all off gently with lukewarm water.
Now you should feel smooth instantly!!
Happy trying!
There are many homemade mask that can be made easily at your home daily routine. Just try to get to know your skin type, and try the above recipes. Good Luck!
The 7 days diet program!
Hello Dolls!
I found this interesting articles about 7 days fast diet. Actually i heard this many times already, so think this somehow can help for whoever you are out there need this fast diet. I think it would be nice to share it in my blog. all i did was copy and paste =D. If you have any enquirers., please do your own research first. I will try to help as much as i could though. Cheers~!
7-Day Diet: Cabbage Soup Diet Plan
Eat as much soup as you desire for seven days and you can lose 10 to 15 pounds. The recipe varies slightly, but includes a variety of low-calorie vegetables such as cabbage, onions, and tomatoes, flavored with bouillon, onion soup mix, and tomato juice. Each day of the seven-day program has specific foods that must be eaten, including potatoes, fruit juice, many vegetables, and on one day, beef.
Day One:
  • Eat only fruit, all the fruit you want except  banana.
  • Drink unsweetened tea, black coffee, cranberry juice, and water.
  • Eat as much soup as you like.
Day Two:
All you want - fresh, raw, or cooked vegetables of your choice. Stay away from dry beans, peas, and sweet corn. Reward yourself with a big baked potato with butter for dinner. Eat as much soup as you like but no fruit for today.
Day Three:
Combine days one and two, eat as much fruit, vegetables, and soup, as you like but no baked potato.
Day Four:
Eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day, along with your soup. This day is supposed to lessen your desire for sweets.
Day Five:
You may have 10-20 ounces of beef (300-500g) and a large tin or up to six fresh tomatoes. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water this day to wash the uric acid from your body. Eat your soup at least once today. You may eat broiled or baked chicken (skinless) instead of beef. If you prefer, you can substitute broiled fish for the beef.
Day Six:
Eat beef and vegetables today. You can even have two or three steaks if you like, with fresh vegetables or salad. NO BAKED POTATO. Eat your soup at least once.
Day Seven:
Eat all you want of brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices, and vegetables. Be sure to eat your soup at least once to day. No bread, alcohol, or carbonated beverages, not even diet soda.
Happy weekends everyone!
Soulmates.
Hey Darls! It's been a while i'm not on post. Been busy with studies, and stuff. Well let's see what i got for ya this time around!
SOULMATES! =)
Yes....Valentines has just passed. I know some of you folks may not experience the best lover's day yet. But i tell you what, there's no need to rush..trust me, have faith and sooner or later it worth the wait.
I've been to my church service last Sunday and there's a special short class about "Love relationship". I learned a lot from there. Thanks to the church and people who organized it =). I would like to share a few points to ponder, in order to get the one who are made for me and you. So let's start!
For the pass few years...I've been wondering and asking myself a lot...
Who is he? How do i know he's the one for me?
Why i get broken hearted many times?
Why does this relationship hurts?
Always not working out? Why im the one who always wants this the best, but not him?
When will i find him who are made for me?
Will he be perfect for me?
I like this guy, but why doesn't he?
Why he's just using me for granted?
Etc......
How to be in a real relationship, with the right guy or the right women?
Always remember, God's plan for you is always amazing. And he always wanted the best for you. First thing first, if you are dealing with a bad relationship with the wrong guy, it's time to let go. It's not easy, i know cause I've been there (6 yrs with a wrong guy). Have faith darls, God is waiting to give you the best. Letting go, and surrender your life to Him, that's all you need.
1st point:
  • Does God exist in the picture?
         - this is one of the most important points to ponder. If you find a guy or a girl who attracts you, ask yourself this question. Does God exist in that picture, in their lives? If yes, it will shows to you perfectly. You'll find her or him talking in God's way with love, caring, humbleness, honest and God's whisper.
         - doesn't need to seek or chase them but to DISCOVER. It is our job to discover whether he/she is the person that God want's us to be with or the one who are made for us. Pray about them. Ask for guidance. Get yourself ready for the next step.
        - never seek for satisfaction in a relationship. Never be in a relationship because of lust, money, praise, or anything else that will only leads to distraction.
        - never make a relationship because of feeling lonely, peer pressure, rushed or with a recessive feelings.
2nd point:
  • Things to do while waiting =)
          - Personal development. Continue to grow yourself. In everything, studies, works or even in spiritually.
Be humble, love more, grow your confidence, help others. Learn something new, etc.
          - strengthen your life before meeting him/her or before marriage. Never brings unhealthy lifestyle into it.
          - Be wise, in your prayer ask His guidance, never rush.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-15, A Time for Everything
 "There is an appointed time for everything.  And there is a time for every event under heaven ~
2 A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted.
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up.
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
5 A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing.
6 A time to search, and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep, and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and a time to speak.
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; A time for war, and a time for peace.
9 What profit is there to the worker from that in which he toils?  10 I have seen the task which God has given the sons of men with which to occupy themselves. 11 He has made everything appropriate in its time.  He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one's lifetime; 13 moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor, it is the gift of God.  14 I know that everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take from it, for God has so worked that men should fear Him.  15 That which is has been already, and that which will be has already been, for God seeks what has passed by."
dearie Darls,
i hope this post will give you a little bit of something that can help you through your love life. And i believe you and me have learn something today. May i see you again in the next post ya.Thanks for dropping by. Lotsssssss of love!
Love;
Darl Diann xoxo
Stick thin? Anorexia @ Bulimia? This is NOT an OPTION!
So i came across this few articles and several blogs who writes about eating disorder (ED) that happens globally  nowadays. It's just frightened me a lot of the fact that these peoples tortured their own selves extremely, that 90% of the populations end up suffering worst case, death. In addition, yes, they lose weight drastically, but gained it all back easily. And some of them actually starves themselves to death. Yes, DEATH!
Hey, I'm not talking about you or pointing fingers at anyone of you out there. Don't worry people, believe me celebrities are involved too. Too bad. They should be our own role model, aren't they?
When they said they are healthy and beautiful with sticked out bones, they are actually lying!!!!
It's Fatal! Eating Disorder,
IT'S SOMETHING YOU CAN DIE FOR!
Just wanted to put out to everybody that ANYBODY can have eating disorder and Anybody can recover from it.
Here are some diet tips that i think is good enough to stay healthy and not moving towards ED.
- Make your diet public! There's no reason to be ashamed of dieting. It will only help you more, gain more supports. tips and also it will sure keep you on the right track.
- Make the small changes! As in 1,2,3. Such as if you can't give up on Coke, try Diet Coke. Drinking black coffee instead of with creme, remember to cut down the sugar. Using the stairs instead of the elevator is also a small changes that may helps.
- Eat your breakfast and drink 8 glasses of waters a day! Hey, this really helps to boast up your energy levels throughout the day.
- Eat slowly and change your plate size. Hee ;) this helps me cut down fats a lot.
- Eat more Fruits and Vegetables! Remember your favorite red apple, Mango and Guava? Owh dear, that's such a healthy snacks.
- Weight yourself every 2-3 days a week, not regularly! Don't get too obsess about the numbers, instead of focusing on loosing the numbers, focus on loosing your fats first.
- Workout rationally! DOn't stress yourself too much. I know finding the time for exercising are difficult. But i told youbefore, we just need simple small starts first. Shopping for an hour could be a good work out too you know? Or maybe just as simple as 50 times jumping in place, and you'll be sweating.
Lastly.....
Just wanna shout out to people out there. Always stay healthy and beautiful, don't ever thinking of starving yourself.
Moderate is the key, ya?
Regards and lots of love:
Diann
